One key to your marketing is to “do new”. New products, new services, even a new look for your company helps break through the clutter. In other new news, Jessica Dixon has been working with Emerge this summer as a Summer Associate. She’s helped with a wide variety of Emerge projects and our ever-increasing client load, but alas she will be missed when she returns to school this fall. Finally, I’ve written and will self-publish a new book in early September ‘02 called The Marketing Toolkit for Growing Businesses.

So, what new things are you doing in your business? A good marketing effort will have at least one new initiative each year—regardless of economic conditions.
